Your CAM renewal, at a glance

Florida CAM licenses renew on a two-year cycle. Here's what has to be done before it lapses.

πŸ” Every 2 years
Your CAM license renews biennially. Your continuing education has to be complete by the deadline each cycle.
πŸ“… Due September 30
The renewal deadline is September 30 of your renewal year. Leaving it to the last week is how people miss it.
πŸŽ“ 15 hours of CE
Fifteen hours of DBPR-approved continuing education across the required categories below, or 17 if you manage HOAs.

The 15 hours span five DBPR categories: Legal Update, Insurance & Financial Management, Operation of Physical Property, Human Resources, and Electives (3 hours each). If you manage HOAs, your 3 elective hours are replaced by 5 HOA-specific hours: 3 in recordkeeping (EH1) and2 in HOA education (EH2), for 17 total.

Educational summary only, not legal advice. Requirements are point-in-time and can change. Confirm your exact hours and categories with the Florida DBPR (myfloridalicense.com), and take legal questions to your association's attorney.
